Non-Surgical Brow Lift in Nottingham — Subtle Lifting Without Surgery
Brow Lift Nottingham | Signature Aesthetics
One of the things I notice most often when clients come to me concerned about looking tired is that the issue isn't actually their eyes — it's their brows. As we age, the brow position naturally drops, and even a small amount of descent can make the whole eye area look heavier and more fatigued than it actually is. It's one of those changes that happens gradually enough that people often don't realise what's shifted until they look back at older photographs.
The good news is that a non-surgical brow lift using anti-wrinkle injections can address this effectively, without the recovery time, cost, or commitment of a surgical procedure. It's one of my favourite treatments to carry out at Signature Aesthetics because the results — when done well — can make a genuinely significant difference to how rested and open the face looks.
How Does a Non-Surgical Brow Lift Work?
The position of the brow is controlled by a balance of muscles — some that pull it downward and some that hold it up. By carefully placing small amounts of botulinum toxin into the muscles that depress the brow, I can allow the lifting muscles to work more effectively, resulting in a subtle but noticeable elevation of the brow position.
The key word here is subtle. A well-executed brow lift should look entirely natural — friends and colleagues may notice you look refreshed or well-rested without being able to identify exactly why. If the result looks startled or overly arched, the treatment hasn't been done with sufficient care or precision.
The treatment takes around 15 to 20 minutes and requires no downtime. Most clients from across Nottingham — whether they've come in from West Bridgford, Mapperley, or further afield — are back to their normal day immediately afterwards.

Who Is a Brow Lift Suitable For?
A non-surgical brow lift tends to suit clients who:
- Feel their brows sit lower than they used to and want a gentle lift
- Find their upper eyelids look heavier or more hooded than before
- Want to open up the eye area without surgery or fillers
- Are looking for a natural result that doesn't dramatically alter their appearance
It's worth noting that a brow lift with anti-wrinkle injections works best for mild to moderate brow descent. If there is significant hooding of the upper eyelid, a surgical consultation may be more appropriate — and I'll always tell you honestly if I think that's the case rather than proceeding with a treatment that won't give you the result you're hoping for.
What Results Can I Expect?
Most clients see a lift of around one to three millimetres in brow position — which sounds modest but makes a visible difference to the overall appearance of the eye area. Results begin to show within three to five days and are fully visible at two weeks, which is when I'd recommend a follow-up for new clients.
Results typically last between three and four months. With regular treatment, many clients find the muscles gradually weaken over time, which can mean the results become longer lasting.
Combining a Brow Lift With Other Treatments
A brow lift is often most effective when considered alongside treatment to the forehead and glabellar lines — the three areas work together as part of the upper face and treating them in combination tends to give the most balanced, natural result. I'll always discuss whether a combined approach makes sense for you during your consultation, rather than recommending additional treatments for the sake of it.
If you're also interested in adding volume or further definition around the eye area, we can discuss whether dermal fillers might complement your anti-wrinkle treatment as part of a broader plan.

Brow Lift FAQs
Is a non-surgical brow lift painful?
Most clients find it very manageable. The needles used are very fine and the treatment is quick — the most common description I hear is a small sharp scratch at each injection point. Any minor discomfort passes within seconds.
How is this different from a surgical brow lift?
A surgical brow lift is a permanent procedure carried out under anaesthetic that physically repositions the brow tissue. A non-surgical brow lift using anti-wrinkle injections is temporary, requires no recovery time, and works by adjusting the muscle balance that controls brow position. The results are more subtle but entirely natural-looking, and there's no surgical risk involved.
Can a brow lift make hooded eyes look better?
It can help in mild cases by lifting the brow slightly and reducing the heaviness of the upper eyelid area. However, if the hooding is significant, anti-wrinkle injections alone may not give you the result you're looking for and I'll discuss that honestly with you at consultation.
Will my brows look uneven after treatment?
Brow asymmetry is something I assess carefully before treatment — most people have a degree of natural asymmetry and part of my job is to take that into account when planning where and how much product to use. At the two week review I can make minor adjustments if needed.
How soon can I have a top-up?
I recommend waiting until the full results are visible at two weeks before assessing whether any refinement is needed. Ongoing top-up appointments are typically every three to four months to maintain results.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for treatment?
There's nothing complex required beforehand. I'd recommend arriving with a clean face where possible and avoiding alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment. At your consultation I'll go through anything specific to your situation.
